NEW LIFE FILTER

Sending clean water and the gospel to people who are in desperate need of both.

New Life Filters Work!

Help.png

When you partner with The Sending Place clean water projects you are helping to provide clean drinking water and the gospel to people who are in desperate need of them both.

2.2 Billion people currently DO NOT have access to clean drinking water, that is 1 out of 4 people on the planet.

New Life Filters are a micro solution solving the worlds water crisis one family at a time. One New Life Filter provides immediate access to clean drinkable water and lasts for 8 years while providing clean water for up to 10 people.

Pictured to the right is Betty, a precious soul who not only was in desperate need of clean drinking water but also in need of a Savior.

Betty attended one of our children's outreaches with her children and accepted Jesus as Savior along with winning a drawing for a New Life Filter.

Both of Betty's children experienced chronic health issues due to contaminated water, affecting their school attendance and time off work for Betty.  Also having to shoulder the economic hardship of hospital visits and medicines for water borne illnesses which they could not afford.

This little girl pictured to the left lives in a folk-Muslim majority community off the coast of Kenya up along the ridge country. Folk-Muslim meaning they are Muslim by culture only and mostly non-practicing sect. Folk-Muslim communities are usually left without an Imam and/or Mosque as a result the Christian faith has found an open door through education and literacy training to share the message of Jesus.

This little girl is an example of the far too common reality of girls being tasked with fetching water as a part of the division of labor within the family. Often leaving them at great disadvantages to their male counterparts.

Fetching water is done by the women and young girls causing them to often miss school in order to complete their daily duties. Missing school due to sickness combined with missing school to help with water management issues takes far too much time away from studies and leaves many young girls uneducated. Thus limiting their options for social mobility and break the cycle of generational poverty.

The family pictured to the right is a part of HOPE 2025 Clean Water Project one of our current projects in Southeastern Kenya.

After attending an open air crusade they won a New Life Filter through a lottery system, which we employ in order to keep things fair and free from corruption.

I Mark, was blessed to be at this home on the day of the New Life Filter was installed and got to witness one of our teams share the gospel and lead this couple to Christ during the home visit.

I can tell you there is nothing like seeing the whole gospel proclaimed and watching the power of the Holy Spirit move on a persons heart and mind and bring them to repentance. No matter how many times I get to be involved in that process it never gets old, stale, or boring!
